md4-200

Minimer

The system MD4-200 is a AUMAV (Autonomous Unmanned Micro Aerial Vehicle) designed to perform tasks in the field of documentation, coordination, exploration, surveying, communication, inspection and observation.

A modular payload concept allows us to flexibly adapt the equipment to the intended mission. The availability of high resolution digital still camera, several video solutions adapted to very different lighting conditions, and a high-end thermograph heat imaging system for theMD4-200 ensures the capability to carry out miscellaneous and image broadcasting.

Dynamic Position Hold

Minimer

Up to now the Microdrone systems have had the GPS position hold
feature.

When you let go of the controllers, the drone would remain stabilised in its current position. When you want to move to a new position, the drone exits GPS position hold and you would have to compensate for wind with the controllers to move it in the direction you want.

With the new DPH feature the drone is still GPS stabilised; you simply move the controller and the drone follows the trajectory you give it, without the need of an experienced pilot that can judge and compensate for wind. The DPH feature makes flying in windy conditions much easier. Simply genious.

The Ground Unit

Minimer

The Base Station of the MD4-200 concentrates all information relevant to
the flight using the application software MD Cockpit. You have the complete telemetry data and of course the video image taken by the drone tight at your fingertips.

The ground unit also contains all you need for charging batteries, planning your mission through the software, and storage rooms for goggles, cables etc.

Our Microdones are miniaturized VTOL-aircraft (Vertical Take Off and Landing). They can fly by remote control or autonomously with the aid of our GPS Waypoint nav system. The software makes planning your flight easy and at the same time offers almost endless possibilites .

Sensors

Minimer

A number of sensors are fully integrated with the md4-200. Customer specific solutions for other sensors can be developed by Scandicraft.
